This year Grand Rapids, Michigan will become home for approximately 600 new refugees who have been forced from their homeland. They are arriving in the United States every week from the far corners of the world and settling into apartment communities in our neighborhoods. Often times they arrive with no warm clothing or other necessities for the West Michigan weather.
